Television

Television is an audio-visual artwork created as part of my ongoing personal research into digital saturation and the shifting nature of collective experience. Developed with generative visuals in Max/MSP and paired with a dark, dystopian ambient soundtrack, the piece reflects on how technology shapes both what we consume and how we connect.

The only spoken word — “Television” — cuts through the noise, a ghost of once-shared rituals now fragmented by algorithmic feed culture. Rendered in stark black and white, the work invites reflection on the endless scroll, the autoplay binge, and what might be eroding quietly beneath our fingertips.

It asks: what have we gained, and what have we let slip away? Infinite access, yes — but perhaps also the silence in between.
