Space and Time: S1_0105
Each series in my generative art practice — such as Space and Time or Tides — captures a moment within a living algorithm.
The works are titled using coded identifiers referencing the exact time or state at which the image was generated.
These names act as digital timestamps rather than descriptive titles, preserving the work’s link to process and chance.
Every piece is a one-of-a-kind still from a continuously evolving system — a brief alignment of code, colour, and motion, made visible and tangible as fine art print.
A generative abstract artwork by Kris Cirkuit, reflecting the ebb and flow of the tides at Portobello Beach, Edinburgh.
This premium fine art giclée is produced on Hahnemühle German Etching paper with archival inks, showcasing deep indigo hues and fluid, wave-like forms. The paper enhances subtle textural shifts while preserving fine detail, ensuring a high-quality print.
The listed price is for a print measuring 16 x 16 inches overall, with a 15 x 15 inches printed, making framing straightforward and accessible.
This Tides series has officially sold out — thank you to everyone who collected a piece. Each print was a one-off, a freeze-frame in motion. The next works will drift in when the tide turns. Sign up for the mailing list to be the first to know.
Pricing reflects the quality of materials, the limited edition nature of the work, and the time and care invested in its creation. Please contact me for custom-made Tides. I can create a one-off print tailored to your specifications.
