Television

Created as part of an ongoing personal research practice, this audio-visual work explores themes of digital saturation, isolation, and the shifting nature of collective experience. The piece combines a dark, dystopian ambient soundtrack with generative visuals developed in Max/MSP. The only spoken word, “Television”, cuts through the noise — a ghost of shared rituals now fragmented by algorithmic feed culture.

Rendered in stark black and white, the piece invites reflection on the endless scroll, the autoplay binge, and what might be quietly eroding beneath our fingertips. It asks: what have we gained, and what have we let slip away?

What have we gained? Infinite access. What have we lost? Perhaps the silence in between.
